Disaster Relief–Photos

We just got back from a disaster relief trip for Hurricane Katrina where 175 people helped clean out flooded houses in New Orleans. You have to see this to believe it–it is a terrible situation, but we can all help to make it better. A handful of volunteers can completely gut a house and prepare it for rebuilding in only 3 days.

Our photos have been posted. We encourage others to post their photos as well. Feel free to browse our photos.

The organization we worked through is Service International. They have groups going nearly every week; we encourage you to volunteer. Go to SI’s Web site for more information.
