Brett and I flew from St. Louis to Houston on Friday, March 14. As we
left the plane, I noticed the guy in front of me looked like
presidential hopeful, Mike Huckabee.
He had on a navy blue suit and was walking rapidly. Although I have
seen Huckabee on TV several times, I have never seen the back of his
head. This man had a bald spot in his dark brown hair.
However, as Brett and I trailed this man, it was obvious that he was
indeed Huckabee. As he zoomed by, people stopped, stared, and several
questioned, “Hey, wasn’t that Huckabee?”
Brett and I let our celebrity encounter slip away, although we would
have liked to tell Huckabee that we liked him. He impressed me on the
debates.
